Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Get Justice services.

For Clients

Is Get Justice a law firm?

No, Get Justice is a legal referral service. We connect clients with qualified criminal defense attorneys but do not provide legal advice or representation directly.

How much does it cost to submit a case?

It is completely free for clients to submit a case and receive attorney referrals. You only pay if you choose to hire an attorney, and those fees are determined directly with the attorney.

How are attorneys matched to my case?

Our AI-powered matching system considers your case type, location, urgency, and other factors to connect you with attorneys who specialize in cases like yours.

How long does it take to hear from an attorney?

Most clients receive their first attorney contact within 24-48 hours. For urgent cases, we prioritize matching and you may hear back sooner.

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Your case information is only shared with attorneys who are potential matches. We never sell your information to third parties.

Can I submit a case for someone who is incarcerated?

Yes. Family members can submit cases on behalf of incarcerated loved ones. Just indicate this in the intake form and provide your contact information.

How are referrals allocated?

Referrals are matched based on specialty, jurisdiction, experience, and your current capacity. Higher-tier plans receive priority matching.
